Robin Akhurst

Since graduation from Edinburgh University in 2004, Robin has followed his passion for wine. Gaining a strong theoretical background in winemaking from one of New Zealand's top universities, Robin then spent four consecutive years working back-to-back vintages around the world.

Honing his craft under the tutelage of some of the world's top winemakers such as Anne Claude Leflaive at Domaine Leflaive in Burgundy, Matt Wenk of Two Hands Wines in the Barossa, Thomas Brown of Schrader/Outpost Cellars and Mike Smith of Myriad Cellars/Carter Cellars. Robin decided to settle down with his wife in the Napa Valley to concentrate on focusing his passion on the vineyards of northern California, creating wines of genuine character and balance.
